In 2018 I came a cross the channel 4 one off drama Ellen (2016), the story depicts the life of Ellen, a teenage girl trying to take control of her life amid familial and cultural struggles which lead her to self destruction. I was incredibly moved by the story and wanted to translate it into a visual narrative. I drew a series of digital illustrations of scenes within the drama which I turned into screen prints which I made into a hand bound book.
