In 2018 I began working for the British artist Henry Hudson, specifically on his jungle series. Being sculptural paintings made out of plasticine. I was not long out of university where I had been studying graphic design, but my ultimate goal had always been to work creatively using my hands. So I took to it straight away and have worked for Hudson ever since.

The works are laborious with detail that requires hours of attention. I love transforming a pile of plasticine into something beautiful and otherworldly.

In the studio we are constantly experimenting with the medium in new ways and I’m excited to continue exploring where the artworks could go.
